Trigger EZDrummer With Electronic Drums!

This is EZDrummer in the VPT (Virtual Percussion Technology)system with an RET Percussion drum kit. RET recently contacted me to do a series of VPT videos to show how Easy and Awesome VPT really is. Here, we’re using EZDrummer, but any combination using great software samples of your choice is also cool.
I was literally setup and playing/recording in ONE HOUR! Not only was I very impressed by how quick and comfortabe I felt using this system, but the sounds!
I can’t even begin to describe how well these samples are recorded!
If you’re not familiar with software samples: They are ACTUAL recordings of ACTUAL drums like Tama – DW – Pearl – Mapex – Orange County – GMS – Yamaha – and Many others! Now, I can play an RET kit that feels acoustic, with the same look and sound of an acoustic! It beats using a module sound, hands down.
This truly is the future of drumming.
