We checked out some new drum kits at Tama’s 2012 NAMM booth, starting with a multi-bass drum Starclassic Maple Mapa Burl kit outfitted with double-headed and concert toms, which was so big it should have had its own zip code. We also saw some new, organic finishes for the company’s successful Silverstar series, as well as an elegant limited-edition kit made of 100-percent walnut and fitted with black nickel hardware.
